Burundi Cultural Information Session
When: Friday 24 February 2012
Time: 9.30am-1.30pm
Venue: CJ Greenfield Sporting Complex, Freeman Road, Inala
Cost $55 including lunch
 
PRESENTERS:
The session will be presented by Mr Abel Siboniyo, President of the Burundi Community Association and other members of the Burundi community. They will explore some of the following topics;

  • Brief history and cultural practices
  • Reasons for coming to Australia
  • Settlement issues and how service providers can work effectively with the Burundi community members
