  Queensland Alliance for Mental Health invites you to its 2012 Conference, Altering States: Working for Wellbeing.  In 2009, the Altering States: Reforming the System Conference generated lively and passionate debate on the mental health system for the 21st Century. The theme for the 2012 Altering States Conference is Working for Wellbeing. The conference will provide a platform for discussion, debate and the sharing of ideas, focusing around:

  1. Workplace social inclusion for consumers/people who have experienced mental health issues.
  2. Employers’ role in creating mentally healthy workforces.
  3. Capacity building and workforce skilling in the community mental health sector.

 Altering States Call for Papers 2012
Proposals for papers, symposia (3-4 related papers), and workshops are invited. Please submit your papers with one or more of the following themes as a guide:
1.    Workplace social inclusion for consumers /people who have experienced mental health issues.
2.    Employers role in creating mentally healthy workforces: Innovative and creative ways of creating a mentally healthy workplace.
3.    Capacity building and workforce skilling in the community mental health sector.
4.    Community recovery from natural disasters.
5.    Celebrating innovation in the community mental health sector.
