Demand for emergency relief and financial assistance has risen sharply in the last 12 months as more Australian families face increased financial pressure.
A report released on the impact of the global economic recession on not-for-profit organisations has revealed more Australians are turning to community organisations for help. |

Request For Tender - Purchase of transition support for men and/or women with a mental illness being released from prison.
Provision of support, on a case by case basis, to men and/or women with a mental illness who are being release from custody. Involvement will commence on referral from the Prison Mental Health Service to participate in developing a mental health transition plan before release, through to support and follow up in the community for up to six (6) months. The focus will be on facilitating access to mental health follow up and intervention and re-establishing social supports including housing, employment, drug and alcohol support, legal support, financial and social support systems as and when necessary.
