Program Director, Michael Wilson
Mike Wilson first engaged with the mental health sector working for a small NGO in New Zealand in 1994. Coming from a background in intensive cardiac care nursing in the USA and university clinical trial research management in NZ, his introduction to mental health in the early days of the Recovery movement was a transformative experience. Mike has developed a passion for looking for ways to ensure the best possible outcomes for persons with a mental illness and the people and professionals who cared for them.
A recent arrival to this beautiful State, Mike looks forward to starting a whole new developmental phase working with a young, agile organisation that serves the rapidly changing world of mental health service delivery.
