Successful Micro-Grants Announced

Twenty-two successful applicants from the first round of the Resilient Places micro-grant project have been announced by Queensland Alliance for Mental Health. The successful projects are representational of activities promoting community resilience, mental health and well being.

In total, forty three applications seeking approximately the $5000 per grant were received from the following regions:

  • Brisbane
  • Central Queensland
  • Far North Queensland
  • North Coast
  • North Queensland
  • South West.

An external selection panel made up of members of the Resilient Places Steering Committee assisted with a ranking and selection process based on the following criteria: the quality of the project description; the capacity to manage the project; the amount of people involved; the relevance of interventions; innovation and adding to community capacity.

Twenty two were selected and the successful applicants are listed in the following table:
